I love that old drawing style. It's very evocative yet simple. Doing my best to figure out how you've done that and what exactly makes it look that certain way.

I'm not sure if you mean with what tools or the style of the picture. The style comes from studying and seeing a lot of traditional Asian art as well was illustrations made when their influence came over to Europe. As for tools I simply used a mechanical pencil for the sketch and added flat colours and a few textures in Paint Tool Sai. c: Hope that helps?

Yeah that does help. You've definitely done your homework.
I think the flat colors overlaid with texture, without much highlighting and shading, are what really bring that style to life. Thanks!
